Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is having Affiliation with reputed MCI and NAAC. Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research [HIMSR], was established in 1962, has been consistently among the best medical colleges in India. It has been ranked 4th best in New Delhi and 15th best in the country in the National Institutional Ranking Framework [NIRF] 2019. The institute gives various courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and postdoctoral levels in the medical field. At the UG level, it offers MBBS and B.Sc. in 6 specializations. Candidates with 50% in 10+2 with PCB as subjects can apply for the UG courses. At the PG level, it offers MD/MS in 3 specializations and M.Sc. in 3 specializations. Graduation in a relevant subject is required to apply for these courses. Apart from this, it also offers Ph.D. in 7 research areas. Since the college is well-reputed consequently, most of the students are recruited before the end of final exams. The Institute is an inherent faculty of the Jamia Hamdard and is situated at Hamdard Nagar, Delhi. The college strives to provide the best quality healthcare facilities at the most affordable prices. The curriculum is regularly updated as per UGC and MCI so the syllabus is up to date as per the need of the time and the teachers r really professional and keep themselves and their teaching methods updated with a focus on overall learning including practical skills.

The college provides the rotatory internship after the completion of the course with an almost negligible stipend but the experience that we get from visiting the hospital is unbeatable. We get regular postings in the hospital from the third year onwards. Since it's a medical college, there's no such thing as placement. Students get a lot of clinical exposure in the hospital affiliated plus the urban and rural health center. The other courses that include research often collaborate with well-known institutes for a better learning experience.

The infrastructure is well constructed with everything onboard a student can ask. The food is hygienic even though they don't have a very huge or special canteen with various varieties but the food is good. Wi-Fi and other facilities are available all throughout the campus. The campus is pretty good and in part with the MCI Standards. The faculty is well learned and give good exposure in clinics. The crowd is better than at most colleges and comes from well-off families. The new hospital block is well equipped with all state-of-the-art facilities for doctors and patients alike.
