European University (EU) Admission 2025

European University Georgia was established on December 31, 2012, as one of Georgia's approved teaching universities. Over 300 academics and more than 100 administrative workers teach in the university's 17 approved educational programs. To support the teaching and learning process, the institution employs highly skilled academics and scientists.

2013
- Launched additional degree programs: Finance and Banking.

- Established the Faculty of Medicine.
- Started Medical Doctor (MD) program in Georgian language.

2015
- Initiated partnerships with international universities.
- Applied for and began preparations for English-medium MD program.
2016
- Expanded clinical partnerships with hospitals and clinics.

2017
- Started offering MD program in English, attracting international students.
- Launched modern simulation labs and clinical skill centers.
2018–2019
- Introduced Veterinary Medicine and other integrated Master’s programs.
- Strengthened faculty base and international staff recruitment.
- Recognized by multiple global bodies like FAIMER, ECFMG, and WFME.
2020
- Increased hospital affiliations and student enrollment.
- Upgraded digital infrastructure and remote learning platforms due to COVID-19.
2021
- Joined the European University Association (EUA) as an associate member.
- Participated in the Erasmus+ mobility program with over 50 universities.
2022
- Acquired Jo Ann Medical Center, renamed as Jo Ann University Hospital — now a teaching hospital for EU students.
- First batch admitted to the Veterinary Medicine program.
2023
- Became the only private Georgian university listed in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings (Rank: 1001+).
- Upgraded infrastructure, added new labs, library resources, and dormitory spaces.
2024–2025
- Strengthened global recognition, with ongoing accreditation from:
- WHO, WFME, NMC (India), ECFMG, MCC, etc.
- Continued expansion of English-language programs, research, and student intake.
