PTE Academic Eligibility
The following are the requirements for taking the PTE Academic Exam:
Students of various countries are welcome to take the PTE Academic exam, which is governed by the same set of guidelines. According to the PTE official website, the exam can only be taken by candidates who have a valid, current, and legible identity verification document (usually a passport).
The PTE Academic exam is open to students above the age of 16. There is no indication of an upper age limit on the official PTE website. Candidates between the ages of 16 and 18 must fill up and submit a parental consent form ahead of time. The parental consent form can be downloaded from the official PTE Exam website.
The College Board has not established a precise lower or higher limit for students taking the SAT exam. The only condition set forth by the organising body is that students taking the exam have completed their high school education. The majority of those taking the SAT exam are between the ages of 17 and 19.
The PTE Academic Board has not established any educational qualification eligibility criteria. The sole condition for taking the exam is that you must be able to communicate in English.
Maximum number of attempts - There is no limit to the number of attempts, however there must be a 5-day break between tests.
