2005
- Georgian American University was established as a joint venture of U.S.A. and Georgian investors.
- Started the Business School and Law School.
2011–2012
- Georgian American University started Law & Social Sciences as well as inaugurated Natural Sciences
  & Engineering School.
2012–2013: relocated to new campus

2013–2014
- School of Liberal Education & Humanities was introduced
- GAU had 5 schools providing ~19 bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs.
