About Us

  • Brockville, earlier Elizabethtown, is a city in Eastern Ontario, Canada in the Thousand Islands area. Despite the fact that it is the seat of the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, it is politically autonomous of the district. It is incorporated with Leeds and Grenville for statistics purposes as it were. Known as the "City of the 1000 Islands", Brockville is situated on the north shore of the Saint Lawrence River, somewhere between Kingston toward the west and Cornwall toward the east. It is 115 km (71 mi) south of the public capital Ottawa. The city faces Morristown, New York, which is situated on the opposite side of the stream. It is probably the most seasoned local area originally settled by Euro-Canadians and is named after the British general Sir Isaac Brock. The city strikingly includes the Brockville Tunnel, Canada's first rail route burrow, completed in December 1860, and shut in 1970.It was obtained by the City of Brockville in 1982, and the passage returned in August 2017 as a LED enlightened walker burrow with music. Close by the Fulford Place and the Aquatarium, it has since gotten perhaps the most renowned vacation destinations around there, and surprisingly the entirety of Ontario.
