Goenka Research Institute of Dental Science ( GRIDS ) Admission 2024The BHOLARAM EDUCATION SOCIETY or BES was established in 2003 by the renowned industrialist, Shri Ramesh Goenka. This beginning was made to cater to a social and a national need- that of imparting quality education to the populace. It is the belief in this philosophy that set the foundation of the Delhi Public School (a part of the BES) at Gandhinagar in 2004 which was inaugurated by the honorable Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Bhai Mod The group has since been establishing new standards in education, which are now being appreciated by students, parents, and educators worldwide. Having thus cemented its footing in the field of education, BES embarked on another ambitious venture - that of imparting education in the field of dental sciences and Goenka Research Institute of Dental Science or GRIDS along with 100 Bedded Multi-speciality Hospital was conceived in the year 2010. With this new venture, BES aspired to embrace the needs of aspiring dentists and assist them in fulfilling their need for fine dental education. It aims for a perfect synthesis of ancient and modern; Indian and international; traditional and innovatory.

Built on 8000 sq. ft, the library within the school is planned as carefully as any other laboratory of the school, to give returns like any other laboratory of the school. A Reception & waiting area welcomes the students into this room. With a capacity of seating 50% of total students’ strength, there is a provision for a Property counter, Photocopying area, Journal room, Audio-visual room, Stores and stocking area and a Postgraduates & staff reading room. The Chief Librarian’s room in this area, ensures standardization of library materials and functioning, assistance to students, correct maintenance of incoming and out-going books, and courteous and well-informed working staff within the walls of the library.

To promote and foster student-teacher interaction, GRIDS has envisioned the need for state-of-the-art classrooms that can be the harbinger of teaching and learning processes. To promote interactive learning, an integrated audiovisual classroom with a digital library that can be accessed for classroom references has been devised. These high fashion classrooms are the merging pot of theoretical knowledge, practical queries, and student-teacher interaction.

Staying at the hostel facility in GRIDS is the first time that several of our students are being exposed to living outside their own homes. It, therefore, becomes our primary concern to make them feel comfortable and secure in an environment that they will be spending some crucial years of their lives.
Providing separate girls’ and boys’ hostel amenities is done in an attempt to provide these students with their own privacy and comfort zones. Each of the rooms is spacious, well ventilated, and luxuriously designed to accommodate the needs of a maximum of three students. All round-the-clock internet connectivity in the rooms enables students to make efficient use of their time for research and knowledge updating.
