Babaria Institute of Technology (BITS), Vadodara is awarded the “Distinguished Institution Award” by Computer Society of India in 2017 and awarded the “Excellence in Education Award-2015 at National Gujarat Summit & Awards-2015 out of 100 colleges. The institute comes under the aegis of the BITS Edu Campus. BITS Vadodara offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the discipline of Engineering and Management.

BITS Edu Campus established in the year 2004 with only one institute i.e. Babaria Insitute of Technology with a mission to impart world class professional education in the field of Engineering and Technology. Today BITS Edu Campus offers professional education in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Institute also offers PG programs in the field of Mechanical Engineering and E & C Engineering. A lush green campus, with 228 faculty members, trained from reputed institutes and 89 administrative and supporting staff members are committed to impart best technical education to more than 3900 students. The institute is having 6 Academic Departments and equipped with 58 high-tech laboratories and 47 ICT enabled class rooms.

The Smart classrooms are equipped with latest configuration PCs with Projector and other amenities to enhance teaching-learning process. Fully Air-conditioned ICT enabled classrooms that provides an environment where leaning happens naturally.
The classrooms have been designed exploiting Natural Elements like wind, daylight & positioning with sun diagram. This adds to not only the ambience but also the functionality of the purpose. The chairs in the classrooms are ergonomically designed to make the students stay for the day comfortable & relaxed. Care is also taken in the smallest details such as maintaining roominess by optimizing length & breadth ratio and eliminating the generation of echoes. All the classrooms are ready with Audio-Visual (Multimedia) Facilities.
