Ever since its inception, the institute has managed to mold aspiring young talent into highly skilled health care professionals. While for paramedical courses, many students opt for job opportunities, for medical courses, most of the students opt for higher education. After 4.5 years of your MBBS course, you have to take a learning experience with your elder doctors or your representation. You have many options to do jobs if you want to continue your studies for MD/MS so you can opt for a govt. MBBS doctor in your own colleges otherwise you can also keep continuing your doctorate experience from the same college that they provided. Almost 90% to 100% of students were selected in the same college or in another top hospital in India. Almost everyone in AIIMS gets a good job after MBBS. Still, most of the students prefer PG, and some qualify USMLE to become American residents. The salary offered may vary for every student as some get a salary package of 1 LPA, and some may get 10 LPA. Students who passed MBBS have to do a mandatory 1-year internship. After MBBS, students can apply for junior residency and many others.

AIIMS is one of the oldest medical colleges in India and the infrastructure says it all. The campus of the institute is spread over a vast area in South Delhi. The hospital area, classrooms, laboratories, library, cafeteria, etc. are air-conditioned. It does provide all the basic amenities to the students. Some of the major aspects of AIIMS Delhi are mentioned below:
The library of the institute is known as B. Dixit Library, which has all the recent advances in medical fields, articles, research journals, and many more old age books.
The classrooms are spacious and do accommodate a large number of students. The rooms are facilitated with audio-visual facilities and comfortable chairs.
The entire campus is enabled with Wi-Fi. Student gets better connectivity in hostel rooms as well.
Hostel facilities are available for the students coming from out of the city.
Hostel compound houses barber shop, tailor, general store, book store, cafeteria, laundry, Photostat shop, etc.
The laboratories are facilitated with expensive equipment. All the recent technologies are being used in the labs.
