In 2016 Nimra Institute of Medical Sciences known as NIMS Vijayawada was established by Nimra Educational Society is a Muslim Minority Society, Which was registered in the year 1991. This is affiliated with NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. This Medical College is situated on the main national highway of Vijayawada to Hyderabad, traditional and capital city of Vijayawada is 17 Kms away from this institute in Andhra Pradesh. NIMS has adopted a high quality, global, dynamic, creative and communicative approach in education. This campus with the separated hostel and residential complex buildings are totally built-in approximately 2,08,000 sqft. and Hospital buildings are built with spacious structure. There are two examination halls built with 250 sqm in each with a seating capacity of 500 students.

Hostel Fees
Nimra Institute of Medical Sciences campus has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls students and residential facilities for staff. Boys hostel is built in 26,336 sq ft with 2 floors, this is providing accommodation for 228 students. Women’s hostel is built in 37,185 sq ft with 3 floors and accommodating 228 students.students are monitored by the wardens at all time, warden block built with 8,400 sq ft. Students are provided with good water facilities and hygienic toilet facilities. Hostel canteen is available with a good dining system. Other facilities like a study room with computer and internet facilities and recreation rooms with Television and music, laundry is available.
