The institute is affiliated with Veer Narmad South Gujarat University(VNSGU), Surat and Gujarat Technological University(GTU), Ahmedabad. Government of Gujarat has spent around 16 Carores rupees for the construction ofthe building and laboratory development and granting funds every year for the developments. Student admitted before the year 2007 are enrolled in VNSGU and from the year 2008 students are enrolled in GTU.

The institute provides excellent accommodation to its students. The students are provided with all the amenities so that their stay here becomes a worthwhile experience. The institute has a boys hostel with capacity of 243 students and a girls hostel with capacity of 96 students. Outdoor and indoor games are also virtual provided for the hostilities. University health centre has extended its services to the students of our hostel. The hostel is administered by the rector and wardens.
