  Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU) is the medical school that leads to Georgia and one of the academic and scientific leaders throughout the Caucasus region, based in the institutions in the early twentieth century. Tbilisi University was reorganized on June 10, 1930 and Tbilisi State Medical Institute was established.   • The ‘Caucasus mountains’ is the name of mountain range running through Georgia. The Mount Shkhara at 5,068 m is the highest mountain of Georgia. The Mtkvari river is the largest river in the Georgia and it covers an area of 726 Kilometers.
     
  • The Tbilisi city lies on the banks of the Mtkvari river. Georgia has about 25,000 rivers. Some of the UNESCO’s world heritage sites are located at Georgia.
