NRI Academy of Medical Sciences is the first medical academy in Andhra Pradesh, India started by NRIs. It is one of the medical colleges in Guntur District, offering graduate and undergraduate courses in medical sciences. It is located in Chinna Kakani; nearby cities are Guntur and Vijayawada.

NRI Academy of Medical Sciences was started in the year 2003-04, it is most popularly known as (NRI Medical College Guntur), located at Guntur Andhra Pradesh. Academy is providing 200 candidate intake of every year for the Undergraduate programme, Post Graduate Programme and PG Diploma Programme also imparts. NRI Medical College is one of the premier Medical Colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The NRIAMC Institute has spread over an area of 50 acres.

The Medical College offers admission with an intake of 200 numbers of students per year. The college provides a good ratio of well trained and highly educated faculty members equipped with all the modern technology. It also provides sufficient numbers of non-technical staffs to provide an ambience of self-learning to the students.
