Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (BSRSU) Admission 2025The Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University is the higher educational university in Batumi, capital of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. Georgia. It is named after the medieval Georgian poet Shota Rustaveli.

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (BSRSU) Information 2025
1990 - Batumi State University officially established by the Georgian government.
1990 – Introduction of Law, Economics, and Medicine faculties; shift to Bachelor & Master programs.
2006 – University merges with 6 institutions, including the Institute of Art, Conservatory, Agrarian Biotechnologies, and Membrane Technologies.
2006 – University accredited by the National Accreditation Center.
2009 – Batumi Botanical Garden integrated into the university.
2010 – Niko Berdzenishvili Research Institute and Institute of Phytopathology join BSU.
2011 – Establishment of Scientific Research Center with three main research directions.
2011 – Authorized by National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement.
2018 – Re-authorization granted; BSU runs vocational, BA, MA, PhD, and integrated programs.
Present – BSU offers over 80 accredited programs, has 6000+ students, 273 professors, and 387 visiting faculty. It is a hub for scientific research, global collaborations, and academic excellence.
