Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi Placements 2024Placement is the best thing about VMMC. All are placed since we need many doctors in the country. It's a medical college. There are no companies. One has to serve the state for 10 years if he's from the same state or UT. The average package cannot be taken into consideration because the initial 10 years of your service, you serve for your state. There is a compulsory one-year internship that you have to do after passing your final year exams. The stipend for that is 23k per month. An internship here is very hectic, you got 12 to 24 hr straight duties sometimes.

The infrastructure is fabulous. Just one month ago we got Asia's biggest emergency. The college building has got full AC accompanied by a library. The lecture theatres are smart and spacious. There is a hostel facility in which preference is given to all India quota students first. The negative point is that about food. No cafeteria and food quality of the mess is not up to standards. Also, there is no playground as such.
The library, academic block, and lecture rooms are centrally air-conditioned. The library is spacious, and it will be open for 24 hours. The canteens are available for 24 hours. Classes are regularly held, and the campus atmosphere is good for the students to study. There are no restrictions about the hostel timings.
