  Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune is a NAAC ‘A’ grade accredited & ISO 9001:2015 Certified private university. It has been categorized as “Category-I Deemed to be University” by University Grants Commission (UGC). The University comprises nine institutions offering education in the field of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Optometry, Biotechnology, Management, Ayurved and Homeopathy. All the programmes offered in these institutes are duly recognized by respective councils such as MCI/DCI/INC/CCIM/CCH/AICTE/UGC, etc. The university is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU).

  • It got its status of University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 in 2003 of the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Secondary & Higher Education, New Delhi and the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.
  • The D.Y. Patil Education Society was set up in the year 1987. Since then it has been providing the best of education in the area of health sciences
