Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati Govt. Medical College, Nalhar a Government Medical College established in 2012. The college is under the Department of Medical Education, Government of Haryana. It is affiliated with Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, Haryana, and approved by the Medical Council of India. It admits 120 students for an MBBS course every year. Saheed Hasan Khan Mewati Hospital is a teaching hospital and also has about 500 beds equipped with all modern facilities. The basic admission criteria at the college are the NEET entrance exam. The college has amazing infrastructure and the hospital bedding is 600(highest after pgdms, Rohtak in Haryana). The food in the city is available at cheap rates. The food provided in the hostel mess is also good.
