  • Every year 250 seats are available for the admission, which to the award of the M.B.B.S. degree from the Gujarat University. Prospective students for a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery ( MBBS) degree must have completed an HSC (10+2, or high school) in the Science stream, with at least 50% of marks in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

  • B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, was founded in 1946 and was previously known as B. J. Medical School. The institute was granted affiliation with Bombay University. Later, in 1951, the college was affiliated with Gujarat University for its undergraduate courses, and in 1956, it was affiliated with Gujarat University for its postgraduate courses. The Regional Family Planning Centre, Government Dental College and Hospital, College of Nursing, The Voluntary Blood Bank, and Government Physiotherapy College are the distinct institutions on the college campus that provide medical services to the people of Gujarat.
