Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College is an autonomous government college located in Raipur. The University offers MBBS programme at the UG level. Admission to MBBS programme is based on NEET UG, followed by NEET UG Counselling (All-India level) and Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling (State-level). Candidates, who score above the NEET qualifying cut off, prescribed by the NTA, become eligible to participate in the counselling proces. The NEET cut off varies for candidates belonging to reserved and unreserved categories. Under MBBS/ BDS programmes, 15 per cent of the seats are reserved for All India Quota (AIQ) and the remaining 85 per cent of the seats are reserved for State quota.

The campus is very beautiful and well equipped with all the modern facilities. There are a new library and a new building made within the campus which is very good. A new auditorium has been established which is India's biggest auditorium that any medical college has. Boys hostels are not so good which are also under construction.
