Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women was established in 2014 and It is the second Government state medical college in India which is exclusively for women students. In addition, the Tirupathi Tirumala Devasathanam(TTD) has allocated 50 acres of land, excluding 57.04 acres within the premises. The 26.2 acres of vacant land will be used to develop facilities such as a medical college, teaching hospital, library and residential complex of AndhraPradesh. Buildings of Medical College, Teaching Hospital (SVIMS University), Student Hostels, Staff Residence, College of Nursing, College of Physiotherapy and others are housed in a Unitary Campus.

Sri Padmavathi Medical College Hostel is built in 10,970 sq.mt. and the residential block is built with 16,025 sq.mt inside the college campus. This hostel providing accommodation facilities for 650 students. This hostel canteen is providing hygienic foods and comfortable dining arrangements. This Hostel providing air-conditioned visitor room and recreation room with Television, Music and Indoor game facilities. Air-conditioned study room with computers and internet facilities.
Separated interns hostel and Nurses Hostels are available with all sorts of facilities. Teaching and non-teaching staff residential buildings are available with more than 100 accommodation facilities. gender harassment and Anti-ragging Committee are available.
