Dr. Sirajul Islam Medical College (SIMC) was founded in 2011, and it is one of the most prestigious private medical colleges in Bangladesh, offering MBBS. The college is located in Dhaka's Moghbazar neighborhood. Dhaka University is affiliated with the college. After completing the 5-year Medical program, students must complete a one-year internship. The college is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council and the National Medical Council, in addition to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Dr. Sirajul Islam Medical College offers hostel facilities to its students. The college has modern hostel accommodation with fully furnished rooms with all the necessary facilities. Indian food is also easily available at the hostel mess of the university. The rooms are offered on a twin-sharing basis to students of the same gender. The College gives students different opportunities to actively participate in various humanitarian services such as free blood donation and free medicine supply for poor patients, relief works during natural calamities such as cyclones, epidemics, floods, etc. The college believes in the holistic development of every student and encourages students to participate in various activities such as debates, sports events, and tournaments, student exchange programs, cultural activities, etc.

Hostel Fees
There are separate hostel facilities for both local and international students. At a short walking distance from the college campus, the hostel building for foreign students is located. There is a 5 storied hostel complex for foreign students which can accommodate 50 students. To ensure the safety and security of students, especially girl students, special 24x7 securities are provided to the hostels. The hostel is under the supervision of wardens. With a separate kitchen on each floor, the building has well-furnished rooms for the students. Thus, the university offers a safe, excellent, and peaceful environment for the students to study. The hostel also provides recreational facilities for students indoors and outdoors. At these hostels, the facility of central heating and cooling along with laundry facilities is available for all students. On every floor of the hostel, there is a common room with a TV so that students can enjoy their leisure time.
