About Us

  • Nowrosjee Wadia College (NWC) was established in the year 1932. It is situated in the capital city of Pune, Maharashtra. The college is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and accredited with “A” grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council).

  • At the undergraduate level, the Nowrosjee Wadia College provides BA (Bachelor of Arts) in 11 specializations, B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) in 9 specializations and Bachelor of Vocational programs in 2 specializations. It also provides MA (Master of Arts) in 4 specializations, M.Sc (Master of Science) in 12 specializations, along with MCA (Master of Computer Application) programs.

    With its unique blend of the old with the new, its old colonial ambience with the modern state-of-the art facilities, it is no wonder that the College received the first ever Foundation Day award of the University of Pune in February 2002, for being theBest College in Urban area. The award is all the more significant since Pune University decided to institute the Foundation Day Award in 2002 under its Quality Improvement Programme. With several premier institutions, many older than ours to compete with, Nowrosjee Wadia College was the FIRST to receive this highest award and recognition.
