About Us

- 1814 – Formation of university.
- 1932 – Faculty of Pediatrics was formed
- 1956 – Faculty of Dentistry was formed
- 1975 – Faculty of Pharmacy was formed
- 1991 – Faculty of Social Work was formed
- 1993 – Faculty of Postgraduate Education was formed
- 1994 – Earned university status and was retitled as Kazan State Medical University. Moreover, Faculty of Management and Higher
  Nursing Education was formed
- 2011 – Launched programs - Medical Biophysics and Medical Biochemistry.
- 2014 – Formation of Two new faculties - Faculty for Work with Foreign Students and Faculty of Medical and Biological Sciences
- 2016 – The first UNESCO Chair in Bioethics in Russia was established at Kazan State Medical University.
- 2021 –Collabartion with Kazan Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology and Republican Clinical Hospital was
  formed to enhance medical research and innovation in the region.
