Jagran Lakecity University (JLU) Admission 2024Jagran Lakecity University (abbreviated JLU) is a private university located in Bhopal. The University carries forward the 15-year-old legacy of Jagran Social Welfare Society, its promoting body in being a pioneer in provision of quality education in the state of Madhya Pradesh.They have two campuses one in Chandanpura and other in Mugaliyachap. The university offers 65 degree programs to more than 2500 students per year. Till now, these students came from 8 countries and 27 states of India. The University has been bestowed with several awards, such as 'University of the Year' for 2014, 2015 & 2016 by Federation of Madhya Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FMPCCI). The University was also recognized as a Global League Institute in 2016 & 2017 at the House of Commons, London, UK.

Jagran Lakecity University is situated in a pristine expanse of 232 acres spread between 2 campuses. With lush green forest surrounding the Student Enrichment Hub from three sides, it is a magnificent area at Chandanpura, Bhopal and houses the only functional pyramid of the country. The campus at Mungalia Chhap, is spread in 196 acres and houses state of the art facilities for students.The university’s academic blocks consist of classrooms, auditorium and labs for hands of training for the students. Pyramid houses a library, giving students access to books and journals in both physical and digital form. The campus is completely Wi-Fi enabled and secured with CCTV cameras.

At Jagran Lakecity University, when you are among the many students coming from all across the country to live on campus, a hostel becomes your second home and fellow hostelites become your family. Jagran Lakecity University has made sure that you have cherishing and fun filled years of your stay at the hostels and it becomes not your home away from home but a home as much as home.
The university offers comprehensive hostel facilities for boys and girls separately within the campus and outside respectively. With dedicated hostel warden and faculty members staying on campus, the university student accommodation is a highly secure environment so that the students stay comfortably and focus on their academics and overall development.
The Student Enrichment Hub at Chandanpura has a modern hostel, which has 3 blocks and 14 floors where students can avail single, double or triple occupancy, a/c and non a/c rooms as per their preference. The rooms are fully furnished, properly ventilated and adequately sunlit during the day. The off-campus accommodation of JLU offers double and triple occupancy rooms and can house 70+ students; bus service is available for travelling to and fro campuses.
The life in hostels enables students to spend ample time in the university campus, utilize the library and other facilities to ensure they develop academically and acquire the necessary skills that can be obtained only through experience. On every floor of residential blocks, common rooms are available for the hostelites, equipped with Television sets, Sofas and small Pantry, where they can watch sports, movies, play board games or just recharge their social batteries by spending time leisurely.
